Berkeley Critical Mass burns American flag
Our Eastbay correspondent writes:
Friday night up on Telegraph Ave. near UCB, as the monthly Critical Mass parade of bicycle clowns passed by, I noticed that one anarchistic bicycle freak was dragging through the gutter a large badly soiled American flag, which he had evidently been dragging on the street for blocks. Just as he approached a Telegraph intersection near UCB, he set the flag on fire to cheers of approval from the surrounding Critical Mass bicycle clowns!
Critical Mass, with its dubious bicycle coalition lobbyists, are radical far left hate America anti-car eco-lunatics and anarchists who sure the hell don't represent the interests of responsible cyclists. Yet the Critical Mass participants with their bicycle coalition promoters have claimed that they're just a bunch of fun loving and caring bicyclists without a violent leftist agenda, which is total nonsense.
