Important decision on high-speed rail next month
Judge Kenny |
The state supreme court rejected the High-Speed Rail Authority's hail-Mary attempt to bypass the court of appeal to nullify Judge Kenny's decisions last November against the project.
But the supremes ordered the court of appeal to fast-track its decision, whatever it is, because the authority is looking at serious budget deadlines, which means the decision should be out next month.
Kathy Hamilton writes about the deadlines and where things could go from here.
Ken Orski also has a good account. Recall that Orski used to do the excellent High-Speed Train Talk blog.
