Looking for a Mole for Tonight's SFBC Meeting
I received the message below from the SF Bicycle Coalition about a special meeting tonight:
SPECIAL SFBC MEETING: HELP GET BIKE PLAN BACK ON TRACK!
6pm-7:30pm SFBC office, 995 Market St., Ste. 1550
As you probably know by now, there is an injunction against the City, holding up key bike improvements, including new bike lanes, sharrows, and even bike racks. (See http://www.sfbike.org/network for more.) Think this is ridiculous? Frustrated by the City's lack of action so far? Want to find out more and to join like-minded bike supporters to brainstorm ways to help get this Bike Plan back on track? If so, then please join us for a special emergency SFBC member meeting to discuss the situation & to work together toward progress.
Answering the questions above in sequence: no, no, and no.
But seriously, sports fans, District 5 Diary is looking for a mole to attend tonight's meeting to provide me with an account of the discussion, confidentiality guaranteed! Just send your notes to rmajora@comcast.net
