"The best party in town"
In today's NY Times, Dwight Garner writes "The Paris Review web site feels, for now, like the best party in town," mainly because it has the complete text of every interview that has appeared in that literary quarterly, from E.M. Forster in 1953 to Michel Houellebecq in the current issue. Over the years, I read some of the interviews as they appeared, and I even owned a collection or two of them in book form. But a lot of them I've never read or even knew existed. It's party time.
