The best Roll Call in history
I'm old enough to remember some of the earliest political conventions on TV. Sometimes the roll calls actually meant something when the outcome wasn't predetermined.
The outcome of last night's roll call was of course not in doubt. But it was still the best in the history of roll calls.
Brilliantly conceived and well-executed, every state and territory made its choice known on location in little over 30 minutes.
