Stephen Curry at the All-Star game
As a Golden State Warriors and Stephen Curry fan, I'm not impressed with this 3-point record. Curry is of course a great shooter.
But I stopped watching NBA all star games years ago, since no one plays serious defense in a game where nothing's at stake. You can see that in the Curry highlight video above.
In a regular season game, where serious defense is played, Curry would be knocked down by defenders a number of times, like he was in last night's game.
It's an occupational hazard for NBA shooters. Like other shooters in the league, Curry knows how to fall to avoid injury. But the video shows that he wasn't seriously defended on a single one of those shots.
