Where were you in '62?
Those were the days! JFK was president, and shortly before the Beatles arrived in the US, Bob Dylan wrote Blowin' in the Wind. On the other hand, there was the Cuban missle crisis, which scared everyone. We really did come close to war with Russia. And Marilyn Monroe died. Not a good year.
I was 20 years old and making $1.25 an hour, which was enough to live on.
