The Koret Auditorium, Main Library, 100 Larkin Street
Dear Friend of Transit in San Francisco:
I would like to personally invite you to attend SaveMuni.com’s Forum on the Future of Transit in San Francisco---on Saturday, August 18 at the Koret Auditorium in the Main Library. Forum Registration starts at 10:00 am. Program begins at 10:30 am and will finish up at 4:00 pm.
The morning session deals with the current state of transit in San Francisco, and the afternoon revolves around ideas for improvements in service and financing. The afternoon will feature break-out sessions where you can talk about your priorities for Muni and for other ways to move around the city without a car.
Speakers include transportation engineer Gerald Cauthen, disabled rights activist Bob Planthold, Tom Rubin CPA, who has been the chief financial officer of two of the largest transit agencies in the United States, public policy consultant Bob Feinbaum, architect Howard Wong, and Linda Clardy, foreperson of the 2010-11 SF Civil Grand Jury.
If you would like further information or to volunteer to help with forum arrangements, please contact Bob Feinbaum at bobf@att.net.
I hope to see you at the forum.
Sincerely,
