More licensed drivers than ever in the city. Thanks to SF Citizen for the DMV info.
As I pointed out last year, there are also more registered vehicles in the city.
The moral of the story: Redesigning city streets on behalf of a small minority of cyclists (see page 3)---taking away street parking and traffic lanes to make bike lanes---is nuts and will make traffic congestion in the city a lot worse than it has to be.
