Philly cop murdered 28 years ago

28 years ago this month Mumia Abu-Jamal shot officer Daniel Faulkner dead on the streets of Philadelphia.

The PC lemmings on our Board of Supervisors passed a resolution in 2005 urging the Governor of Pennsylvania to give the convicted cop-killer a new trial: Alioto-Pier, Ammiano, Daly, Dufty, Maxwell, McGoldrick, Mirkarimi, Peskin, and Sandoval voted for it. Only Elsbernd and Ma voted against it.

Chronicle columnist Debra Saunders is the only local journalist who writes about the issue, but she's a conservative and already beyond the pale in San Francisco.
