Scott Wiener strikes again
Like his attempt to restrict initiative rights, Supervisor Wiener's proposal on nudism---requiring the exhibitionists to put a towel or a napkin under their privates when they sit in public---is wrong-headed, demonstrating once again that you can have a Harvard degree and still be dumb.
Instead of introducing an ordinance making public nudity clearly illegal in San Francisco---which, you understand, might be considered unprogressive by the city's lunatic fringe---his proposal accommodates behavior that's simply unacceptable.
Of course Tim Redmond at the Bay Guardian thinks Wiener's misguided ordinance is a sensible idea.
