Gates is a smart guy, especially about viruses, and he spends the money to back it up. 

Odd that a highly-visible public figure like Gates has a hand-waving issue when on camera, like Bernie Sanders, though his hand-waving seems more expressive than Bernie's, which is robotic and more distracting. 

As a Hillary supporter, I found Bernie's compulsive hand waving---including waving to the moderator to show that he wants to respond to everything his opponent is trying to say. From some camera angles, you saw Hillary through Bernie's waving arms and hands.

Note too how Gates easily avoids criticizing Trump by talking about the genetic issue, not the political issue---how Trump botched dealing with the endemic by not acting sooner, by downplaying the seriousness of the problem.

Since Trump has made a career out of it, like most of his supporters he thinks everyone is more or less bullshitting, especially those smarty-pants liberals with their phony "science" and all those books. If they're so smart, why aren't they rich and powerful like him?
