Lock him up
....Kevin McCarthy, the highest-ranking Republican leader, depicts the charges as a personal plot by Joe Biden — “It is unconscionable for a President to indict the leading candidate opposing him” — and a “grave injustice.” Trump’s leading Republican opponent denounces the charges as “political bias” and “the weaponization of federal law enforcement.”
What is distinctive about these remarks is how little fear these leaders have of embarrassment by the facts. They are dismissing out of hand an indictment they have not seen, the known contours of which suggest persistent criminal misconduct.
Trump, according to news reports, repeatedly defied orders to return classified documents, repeatedly lied about what he held, and appears to have engaged in a cover-up, evidence of which may include surveillance-camera footage, potential testimony by his underlings, and a recording of Trump contradicting his best legal defense.
Trump’s attorney confirmed he is facing seven criminal counts, including conspiracy.
A reasonably healthy party might give its indicted leader some benefit of the doubt, while calling for judgment to be withheld before he has his day in court. But Republicans correctly understand that their party will consider Trump an innocent martyr regardless.
The sickness of the Republican Party as it is presently constituted is that there is no conceivable set of facts that would permit it to acknowledge Trump’s guilt.
What has brought the party to this point is the convergence of its decades-long descent into paranoia with its idiosyncratic embrace of a career criminal....

The idea that Biden is behind the Trump indictment is crude bullshit that only the fringe of even the Repugnant Party can actually believe. Clearly no one but Trump himself is responsible for his problems.
Biden and Democrats don't have to do anything but enjoy the spectacle of Trump and the Republican Party's self-induced political implosion.

Comparing Trump to Stalin? No, since, unlike Stalin, Trump apparently didn't directly order executions. But the Trump administration'searly reaction to the pandemic arguably killed a lot of Americans.
No. Comparing democrats to Stalin’s great purge. And to only pull this stupid stunt for headlines to use in 2024 which is backfiring. What will happen next is that the entire case gets thrown out and media and democrats will blame it on a “rookie conservative judge”. Trump still has security videos yet to be released of the raid and photo staging of boxes being dumped. This is fucking dumb no matter what side you’re on. Seems like Trump is a master at having democrats show their true colors. The red communist flag.
So the Democrats are the new Reds? As a child of the 1950s, that notion gives me a bit of nostalgia about the Red Scare when I was a kid. But Trump himself doesn't actually deny that he took the documents. His problem is that tried so hard to keep them when the Feds came looking.
There are still those who think Alger Hiss was innocent, but there's no doubt that Trump is guilty. His only chance: get elected president next year and then dump the case.
As ex president he’s allowed to keep documents. If there was something he was not suppose to keep and failed negotiate then there is penalty which is a simple fine like a parking ticket.
Prior to 2016 Trump would only be talked about on the front page of a tabloid, no fake Russia, no racist not a word about anything.

A fake Russia investigation, a fake dossier created and paid for by the opposing political party, 2 sham impeachments one of them being over a phone call to a foreign leader. Coming after him for some thugs storming the capital as though he went underground for months planning it, the fbi raiding his home over something civil for documents an ex president is allowed to have, an indictment over those same documents with a court date yet to be determined, and another 5 court hearings brought on by democrats over the next 9 months. And it has yet to stop with democrat leaders on record speaking about how they will be going after and getting Trump.
It’s one thing have a red side and a blue side left and right with political disagreements and some insults are tossed back and forth disagreeing with each sides policies. But this is totally different. This is Soviet Union tactics with the US communists coming out showing their colors. G. Edward Griffin 1969 coming true.
