History doesn't repeat, but it rhymes
Both the face and the name featured in today's story in the Chronicle seemed familiar.
A quick check of the archives showed why: Anddrea Shorter was a member of the pseudo-feminist mob that hounded Ross Mirkarimi out of public life and, in the contemptible process, tried to destroy his family.
The SF Chronicle led the local media mob, with the notable exception of its conservative columnist, Debra Saunders.
Her colleague on the Chronicle at the time, C.W. Nevius, was awful on the issue.

Actual data on how Chesa Boudin has performed in office shows that he's essentially doing what his predecessor did in bringing charges and prosecuting criminals.
