I am in Rome and only barely following current events. Nevertheless, I can summarize the latest COVID-19 news for you:
* The Delta variant is bad. It spreads very quickly.
* However, all of the vaccines are very effective against it. They strongly reduce your chance of contracting Delta; and if you have the bad luck to get it anyway, the vaccines massively reduce the severity of COVID.
* So get vaccinated if you prefer not to die. The vaccines are extremely safe.
* And just suck it up and wear a mask unless you're at home or in uncrowded outdoor settings. Is this overkill? It might be. But then again, it might not be. We don't know for sure. So just do it.
That's about it....If you don't want to die, get vaccinated. Nothing has really changed.

This is how the story has been going.
First Shut down for two weeks as to not overwhelm the hospitals.
Then It was masks don’t work everybody doesn’t need to wear a mask.
Then everybody needs to wear a mask with their slow the spread campaigns.
Then it was all about how many deaths per day.
Then it was all about the vaccine
Then it was about how many cases per day as deaths were dropping.
Then it it became open up no masks needed.
Then it became get vaccinated so that you don’t get infected it’s a dangerous disease that is killing people. You will be protected.
Then it became the vaccinated no mask unvaccinated mask.
Then it became numbers are going up
Then it became the numbers are going up because of the unvaccinated.
Then it became well the vaccinated and unvaccinated has to wear a mask.
Now it’s become ok you have to get vaccinated.
Is everybody that fucking stupid?
Wear a mask so it doesn’t spread, then get vaccinated so your protected and don’t get sick and or die. And here we are now vaccinated or not so you don’t get sick and or die. So then which one works the masks or the vaccines? Because according to their bullshit apparently nothing works. Yet they are encouraging everyone to wear a mask and get the vaccine.
Any dummy can see that it has all become bullshit right about now.
