Not clear who's the author of the opinion below. This morning's hard copy of the NY Times has a John Williams byline, but the online version fingers Janet Maslin as the clueless perp. It's a mystifying, "incomprehensible"  opinion on that great Van Morrison album from days of yore:

Walsh’s “Astral Weeks: A Secret History of 1968,” which takes its title from the well-loved but largely incomprehensible Van Morrison album.
