Bad behavior by everybody at 4th and Townsend
This is the kind of behavior---by motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists---that causes accidents. Commander Ali early this year: “A lot of it is just really, really bad behavior."

As usual Stanley Roberts nails it.
I walk on 4th Street and through that intersection every mid-day and almost never fail to encounter at least three scofflaw bicyclists riding against traffic or rolling through the pedestrians on the sidewalk.
The situation is not helped by the mayhem on 4th Street caused by the overpriced boondoggle central subway project.
