Resources would be better spent cracking down on automobile drivers. For the same amount of money, you could save more lives.For example, the innocent lady who was killed by a speeding driver at 19th Ave and Noriega Street yesterday.

Yes, excellent video! Giving both motorists and cyclists traffic tickets are not mutually exclusive activities.
I'm not suggesting they're mutually exclusive, just that motorists (especially downtown where 3-6 cars run every red light, every time, all day long) should be priority number 1, given the finite resources of the city.
