Rules are for everyone else! Also, [insert arbitrary unrelated fact about cars effect on environment and pedestrian safety].

No Shit. That cyclist almost hit that jaywalking pedestrian!

Stanley could have acquired a lot more footage if he'd walked his camera a couple blocks further east, to the crosswalk across Hyde where it and Grove interect Market. I roll my bike to a stop behind this crosswalk every morning at the red light and watch the cyclists roll up from behind me from eastbound Grove, into the crosswalk and over the pedestrians' shoe tops, on their way to the east crosswalk across Market Street or to the BART entrance.

Is this how THEY like to be treated by vehicles when they themselves are walking in a crosswalk?

Of course once the cyclists have finished violating the crosswalk and my light turns green I get to wait a few moments more as the jaywalkers complete their saunter across Hyde, having stepped into the 3-lane-wide intersection as countdown timer reached 1 second.

As I said, Stanley could fill up his camera in no time at that interection.
