Important MTC meeting on Masonic Avenue

Dear Save Masonic supporter:

Thank you again for helping us in our efforts to bring a balanced, reasonable, safe approach to Masonic Avenue. Funding for the Masonic raised cycle track project will be on the agenda of the Programming and Allocations Committee of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at 9:40 AM. This is a critical meeting! Please make your voice heard---by e-mail or in person---that the current plan is fundamentally flawed and should not be approved.

There will be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting, but we are not sure how long the meeting will go on, the Masonic project is part of a large agenda item that includes many other projects, and the agenda is unclear about when public comment will be heard, so we understand it may be difficult for you to attend the meeting. Therefore it's critical to e-mail the Committee in advance of the meeting so that your opposition will be part of the public record.

Send your e-mails to each of the following: (Ms. Hughes, Secretary) (Supervisor Campos, Vice Chair) (Supervisor Wiener, member) (Amy Rein Worth, MTC Chair)

In the subject line, indicate “Agenda Item 4(b) – OBAG – Masonic Avenue Complete Streets-Programming and Allocations Committee, September 11, 2013
