I don't find this reassuring, since Israel is killing 250 Palestinians every day! This kind of commentary gives intellectuals a bad name. Call it what you like, it's still horrendous.

40,000 Hamas fighters 24,000 civilian deaths over half of the amount of Hamas fighters. Not sure what Drum is trying to defend it. It is all bad any which way you look at it.

I suspect the anti-Semitic Stalin would be pleased that his former victims now agree that killing their political oppostion is an acceptable strategy.
