Supreme Court allows the carrying of firearms in public in major victory for gun rights groups.

The belief that the Second Amendment means that individuals have a constitutional right to own guns is simply false. 

The reality: the the gun industry and gun fetishists have over the years been able to distort the amendment's original meaning, which was about arming citizen militias: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
