After reading the entire leaked opinion it stated that it was “up to elected officials”. It might actually turn out better that way instead of having the federal government or a court telling a state what it can or cannot do in terms of abortion.
But "the federal government" is run by "elected officials." Why should anyone, particularly "elected officials," have the power to decide whether women have abortions? The reality: the anti-bortion movement, led by the Repugnant Party, is based on religious bullshit, not any concern for women's health.
