Vice President Kamala Harris

From the New Republic:

Amid an ongoing spate of stories challenging Kamala Harris’s capabilities as vice president and possibly president sometime relatively soon, the vice president’s response is to dig down into the substance and brush off the criticism.

Monday, the vice president will announce more than $1.2 billion in new funding to address migration to the United States through fostering more economic opportunity....

The announcement was previewed by senior White House officials to reporters on Sunday. “We’ve brought resources, we’ve brought political focus, we’ve raised the international profile, and the vice president—with her leadership, her vision—has caused all of that to happen,” a senior White House official said.

The announcement itself is a clear statement about Harris’s approach to the difficult portfolio she’s been handed as vice president: dealing with immigration issues in Central America and voting rights. She’s doubling down here—highlighting her interest in maternal health and generally trying to ignore data points that have been taken as signs she’s unprepared for at least her current job and most definitely being president....

Democrats argue that the flak Harris is getting is actually part of a larger problem: that Biden’s approval ratings are in the low 40s, inflation is on the rise, and Democrats are still neck-deep in the legislative sausage-making on their expansive social spending package. These efforts, in other words, don’t have an easy or quick fix.

Donna Brazile, the former Democratic National Committee chair and outspoken Harris ally, stressed that most of the attention on Harris is not on the substance of her tenure as vice president.

“Look, I think the difficulty, and what I’m seeing some days, is that you have a White House press corps that covers the substance and you have a group of political reporters and others that covers the superficial,” Brazile said. “There’s no way to bring the substance and the superficial in the same room of conversation.”

Former Harris aides and Brazile stressed to me that what is doable in the immediate future is to let Harris be Harris—that is, let her fly free and publicly on topics that she’s very interested and comfortable with, like maternal health or the African American community.

“Where those windows of opportunity present themselves, I would script her less and put her out there,” a former top Harris aide said. The former aide also said, “I think this administration has tried to get her out there a lot, not necessarily on the world’s best topics all the time. But when you’re governing, you don’t get to decide what’s the most pressing issue all the time”....

$1.2mil funding to address migration? Doesn’t address shit. $1.2b subsidy to Pepsi and a few other companies to help them build plants in Central America is more like it. But as always all horse shit. And nothing but cheap labor. For example the going hourly rate per hour in El Salvador is $1.50-$2.00 an hour. If Pepsi was to build a plant in that country do you believe everyone gets a raise and all of a sudden everything solved?

When your invited to come into the country knowing there will be no consequences for sneaking across the border everyone will want to show up and cross. People are being let in without checks. All I’m holding cells at the border are not waiting to be deported. They’re waiting for a transfer across the states. Border patrol is no longer border patrol. Hey are not allowed to do their jobs being told to stand down. They spend the majority of their time processing border crossers for transfers. No one is being sent back or deported. And this is info coming from one of the entry gates from the inside(family).

I wonder why? New York just announced they wanted illegals to vote. Such a scam. You monkeys are so busy cheering for one political party over the other like it’s a baseball game you could care less about the most important thing. The truth.

Pepsi going to centers America means nothing. Just something stupid to put out there as a lame attempt of trying to convince Americans that our idiot Vice President is actually working. Kamala is a dumb ass secretary that slept her way into the political world. When you have to pay children to speak to you about NASA and space your one dumb bitch.

Speaking of "the truth," the amount mentioned is in fact $1.2 billion, not million. LIke to see some evidence for your immigration rant. I agree that allowing non-citizens to vote in New York is a questionable idea, though it applies only to local elections.

1.2 million was a typo and yes it’s actually 1.2 billion. That typo changes nothing I’ve stated.

“Rant” yeah I know anything factual is called a rant by you. But your a nobody if you call that a rant I would assume we’d have to think everything out of your mouth can be labeled as crying.

I can’t really post the border patrol bulletin here or anywhere as I wouldn’t want to get anyone into trouble. In the meantime here’s an article to show One example immigrants are being transported. And no they are not unaccompanied children. Even if you were to go song with the lie that they are unaccompanied children. What are they doing flying them thousands of miles away from the border to New York child services? These children are the illegals the gov of New York believes should vote?

“Evidence”

Only “evidence” I need with you as that you always have absolutely nothing to prove otherwise. Enjoy your pacifier
