We live in "a burning building"

The "burning building" metaphor Chris Hayes uses is apt. The country will be afflicted with two plagues until next year: the virus itself and President Trump, both of which will continue to damage the building/country and its occupants for the rest of the year as they rage unchecked.

The questions now: How much damage will the fire do to the country/building? and How many occupants of the building will be killed?
