That's enough manpower to analyze every accident that happens on city streets and tell us where and why those accidents happened. Instead, we get the Vision Zero bullshit from its Communications Dept. and puff-pieces about all the "improvements" their making to city streets.

Thank god there are 5,000 MTA employees...to fix the hundreds of broken meters LOL...
Well in my mind the real thing that is broken is SFMTA itself.
As of 2017, the MTA had 6,387 employees.
