Motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists are being encouraged to "Look Both Ways" and watch out for each other and themselves. Pedestrian-involved accidents have increased over the last few years due to several factors, such as increased traffic, increased population and distracting cell phone usage by motorists and pedestrians. The campaign reminds everyone to be more cautious and always watchful for people while you are on the road---whether you are walking, driving or riding your bike! (emphasis added)

Good advice - I'd also encourage pedestrians to avoid crossing the street if possible. You are causing congestion, pollution, and global warming by forcing cars to stop for your slow-moving activity. Think about staying indoors where possible.

Har har! Think about kissing my ass. The point of this rather banal post is that Caltrans understands that distracted drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians cause many accidents, which undercuts the view held by anti-car morons like you that motor vehicles are the big problem.
