Trump supporters and other fascists gather at Gettysburg
From the Huffington Post: Guns And KKK Members At Gettysburg Confederate Rally, But No Foes To Fight
GETTYSBURG, Pa. ― A few hundred armed militia group members, Sons of Confederate Veterans, Ku Klux Klaners, supporters of President Donald Trump, and other self-described patriots descended upon the Gettysburg battlefield Saturday to defend the site’s Confederate symbols from phantom activists with the violent far-left group Antifa.
Some carried semi-automatic rifles ― permitted in Pennsylvania ― as they peered out across the battlefield with binoculars, on the lookout for the black-clad, face-masked anti-fascists, anarchists and socialists they said they had heard were traveling to the national park to dishonor Confederate graves, monuments and flags.
Although many came expecting violence ― even after Antifa made it clear its adherents never planned to show up ― the only bloodshed came when a lone militia group member accidentally shot himself in the leg...

One thing that's beginning to bother me is the word "fascist". Everyday it's becoming more normal to be used more loosely. Buying a box of cherrios can now be a form of faciscim today. Which doesn't make any sense as we still live in a democracy with the right to free speech.
Instead of the terds of antifa wanting to turn the US into Europe they should go protest true facism at the SFMTA.
Oh yes, Europe, that terrible place where they provide people with medical care. I've been the MTA's harshest critic, but calling it "fascist" is pretty silly.
And I'd never even heard of Antifa until I read about this demonstration at Gettysburg. But advocating street fighting at this point in history is dumb and irresponsible.
The far-right and the far-left need each other to feed their political fantasies.
I have to add this: People who arm themselves with automatic weapons and rally around the Confederate flag at Gettysburg, where of course no Confederate soldiers are buried, looking for trouble fit the definition close enough for me.
When I spoke of sfmta being facist I was reddening to the actual definition. Part of it which include "suppression of opposition" among other things.
Antifa are the folks marching holding red and communist flags covering there faces vandelising holding sticks etc. I guess one example could be the riot/protest in Berkeley when they were protesting some conservative speaker a few months back. It's those guys.
I agree the guys at Gettysburg were probably looking for trouble. But those antifa guys could well deserve a couple of bullets in the ass believe me. They're pretty damn violent.
The SFMTA is a public agency that is supported by every elected official in San Francisco. I think that's a shame, but we live in an essentially one party city-state. Neither the MTA nor City Hall has to even try to suppress a non-existent opposition.
I agree with you about Antifa, a violent leftist tendency that used to manifest itself locally as White punks in black.
