Texting in front of the roxie theater on 16th street one of sfmta's "safety" and red carpet projects.
I voted for Scott for state assembly, but never again. He is supporting all the late night entertainment coalition agenda, and supporting big entertainment in the city over the wishes of residential neighborhoods. Enough Scott...yeah you can take their money but you will not get 125 votes from our neighborhood association in west soma...never again.

No, they're just delusional to think that their PC transportation "mode" can really be made safe. Apparently they didn't learn from Mommy and Daddy that life---and riding a bicycle---can be dangerous. Robert Hurst, bike messenger and author, tries in vain to dispel this illusion:
"Is cycling dangerous? Yes. Yes, it is. Deadly, no, but definitely dangerous. This is actually a controversial thing to say. There are those who bristle at any suggestion that cycling is dangerous, because they fear it will scare noncyclists away from ever ditching their cars and trying a more healthy form of transport. This is a good point, but it doesn’t change the fact that cycling is dangerous. This is not some urban legend that needs to be debunked. It is reality, and we need to embrace it." (The Art of Cycling, page 69).
