One of ours or one of theirs?
After every mass shooting in the US, I think of this drawing while the media speculates about the motives of the shooter: Was it terrorism (one of theirs) or just another nut with a gun (one of ours)? Not that it makes any difference to the victims. [Later: Actually, that shooter claimed he was inspired by ISIS. He's apparently deranged, but then so are jihadists.]
The Fort Lauderdale killer was one of ours, a guy who is apparently schizophrenic. How/why he got a gun and why he wasn't on a no-fly list are questions after the fact.
