Good news and hopefully the slow and terminal decline of BART will help raise these numbers higher.
No, it's not necessarily good news, but it is the reality.
Funny that commuting by bicycle is so insignificant it doesn't register on these graphs. You neglected to mention plans for a bike path on the Bay Bridge, which supposedly will be done at the bargain rate of $300 million.
I support a functional BART---another tunnel is a good idea in the long term---a functional Muni system, and public transportation in general. The reality: public transportation can't meet the real transportation needs most people have.
