Sad Election day-after for Rob :( ..any plans to move to Las Vegas?
Nope, no big surprises in the election results and no distress on my part. Mayor Lee did worse than expected and measures F and I did better than I thought they would. Mirkarimi's defeat was no surprise, and it demonstrated how wrong-headed Mayor Lee's decision to fire him was. He should have just let the political process make the verdict and avoid the messy, unnecessary months of melodrama.
But I voted for Mirkarimi, who was a pretty good sheriff.

still not good enough to win. When are you moving to Vegas? Can I have your rent-controlled apartment?
Why would I want to move to Las Vegas? Just wishful thinking on your part.
