Fundraising for neighborhood fire victims

A 4-alarm fire last Saturday 1/31/2015 (McAllister/Scott St.) displaced 25 residents in our neighborhood. We are working with the Red Cross to identify our neighbors and their needs, and have started two fundraising campaigns.
HOUSING: Do you have a temporary/permanent rental available for our displaced neighbors? We are gathering housing leads. Please email us at fire@alamosq.org.
ITEMS: We are currently assessing our neighbors' needs, and will most likely need a location for storage of any donations that come in. Let us know if you can help with storage. We will send out a list of items needed in the near future, or check our website for updates.
NEW/GENTLY USED BABY ITEMS: We know of at least two families with young children affected by the fire, a 6-month baby girl and a 16-month boy. We are collecting donations for them at our Playgroup on Tuesdays 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. at the Alamo Square Playground.
