The Bay Area Bike Share scam

According to reviews on Yelp, Bay Area Bike Share is more of a scam than a green convenience:

SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT SCAM ALERT!

Was having a nice day in SF watched the giants game and decided to rent 2 bikes to sight see and it has 2-3 boxes on the machine.
"24 hour pass $9"
"month pass" and
"over time limit $7 for every 30 min"
first thought is that i am only visiting for the afternoon im not going over 24hr time limit so no worries on extra charges.

THEN IT ALERTS $100 DEPOSIT PER BIKE!

...ok a little drastic but not worried i will get it back safely. Continued on had a great day until....a day later alerting me my BANK ACCOUNT IS EMPTY because BIKE SHARE HAS CHARGED ME $240 (I had gotten 2 bikes).

Then i looked at other yelp reviews and realized how it is all a big scam. They have no corporate office #, you can only EMAIL. And now i am S.O.L because i have automatic bills that come out of my account and

YOU DONT GET YOUR DEPOSIT BACK FOR 10 DAYS!!

so yah instead of looking back and thinking how it was such a wonderful day all i can think about when i see those ugly blue bikes is how much they screwed me over. Thank god i had 10 bucks leftover of them clearing my account that i bypassed a overdraft charge on my bank account , a whole nother mess..so save the headache!!

GREEDY!

RUINED MY DAY OFF!

BTW, NYC's money losing CitiBike share program got bailed out by real estate developer Related. With the sweetheart deals given to Related by NYC govt., purchasing Alta was mere pocket change for the goodwill returned. With the influx of cash, users may get less abuse from bike share programs.
