Mirkarimi is pleased with himself

Supervisor Mirkarimi of course is pleased with himself---self-satisfaction and self-congratulation is what San Francisco progressivism is all about---but I bet UC and Evans are even more pleased with their rip-off of the old extension property on lower Haight Street. It couldn't have happened without Mirkarimi's help in validating UC's lies and greed to betray the interests of the neighborhood and the city at large. The Murk's email message below is to UC supporter and bike guy Rob Bregoff, who is understandably still reluctant to put his full name on his messages.

Absolutely. I have vigorously worked to make the 55 Laguna Project the best possible plan reflective of community need and worthy of passage at the Board Supervisors. I'm pleased to report that the entire plan successfully emerged from the Land Use Committee on Monday. It now goes to the full Board next week where it's poised for strong support.
